COVID-19 Precautions

Your safety and the safety of our employees take priority during this time.

Rest assured our team takes extreme caution when entering a home to protect our employees and customers, including the use of protective gear. It’s part of our process and a precaution that gives you peace of mind when inviting us into your home. Clean air and a sterile home is more important than ever. As licensed exterminators, CrawlPros is considered an “essential business” as mold, water damage, and rodents can all cause serious health concerns to homes and to the families living in them.

On March 23rd, Governor Inslee issued a “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” mandate. Only “essential businesses” can continue to operate for the next two weeks.

According to the Governor and the State of Washington we are recognized as an “essential business” as outlined in “OTHER COMMUNITY-BASED GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS”. Page 11 of the Governors guidelines lists “Construction Workers who support the construction, operation, inspection, and maintenance of construction sites and construction projects (including housing construction)” and “Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, construction material sources, and essential operation of construction sites and construction projects (including those that support such projects to ensure the availability of needed facilities, transportation, energy and communications; and support to ensure the effective removal, storage, and disposal of solid waste and hazardous waste).”

On March 23rd, Oregon State Governor Brown issued a “Stay Home, Save Lives” mandate, ordering Oregonians to stay at home, closing specified retail businesses, requiring social distancing measures for other public and private facilities, and imposing requirements for outdoor areas and licensed childcare facilities.

According to this mandate, our services do not fall into the “non-essential closure of certain businesses” outlined on page 4 of Executive Order No. 20-12, and therefore CrawlPros may continue operating our business to provide safe living conditions for your families.
